Acceptance from SNU

You will get a response from SNU about 3-4 weeks after you have submitted you application. During that period of waiting relax and focus on your studies at Manoa. After receiving your acceptance, they will send a detailed email with deadlines and important dates to lookout for. And until they send your admissions packet with documents regarding your Visa, you will make you SNU ID, upload you travel insurance, and starting thinking about if you will dorm on campus or find a place off campus. More importantly, plan/think of classes you want to take that are transferable back to Shidler. Other than that, just wait for emails from SNU, start making a plan/budget (save money), and get things done early.

IMPORTANT: SNU College of Business of Administration and Shidler College of Business do not have a school to school exchange meaning you may not be accepted into their College of Business. If by any chance SNU rejects you from their College of Business Administration, DO NOT PANIC! They will give you options to reapply to other colleges like Liberal Studies, Economics, or Engineering; which you will have a higher chance of getting accepted. Kathy from MIX and SNU will help you through and advise you in the best route. You will need to resubmit a Statement of Purpose. You will be able to take business courses, but there are restrictions. Do not worry if things go off track, there are solutions to get you back. I believe Shidler and SNU are working towards having an agreement where business students are guaranteed a spot when studying abroad.
