SAC or MIX

Planning to studying abroad is a stressful and demanding task, yet that should not discourage or sway your determination to study in a foreign environment. There are two programs that will help and guide you through that process at Mānoa:

1. UH Study Abroad Center (SAC)

- Offers more programs in Europe

2. Mānoa International Exchange (MIX)

- Offers more programs in Asia

I chose MIX and there are few things you to know/need in order to apply to MIX.

1. Make sure you are eligible

- 2.5 GPA

- Have complete or in the process of completing TWO (2) semesters at Mānoa

2. ONE (1) Letter of Recommendation

3. Online Application

- A few short response answers

- e.g " What would you do in your free time when not studying?"

4. A valid passport

5. Application/Administration fees : $80

- $30 for application fee

- $50 for administration fee

- They are charged to your student account 4-6 weeks after the application
